Samsung Galaxy A71 5G gets certification through Geekbench with Exynos 980

Samsung unveiled the new A-series smartphones ‘Galaxy A51’ and ‘Galaxy A71’ back in December 2019 with centered punch-hole, and now the brand is also preparing to announce their 5G variants. The Samsung Galaxy A51 5G passed through Geekbench in January, revealing its some key specs. Recently, the 5G variant of Samsung A71 has also appeared on Geekbench with Exynos 980 Chipset.

According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy A71 5G with the model number of SM-A7160 is running on the Android 10 operating system, likely with One UI 2.0 on top. Under the hood, it will have Exynos 980 Chipset paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Geekbench listing revealed that the Samsung A71 5G has scored 3078 points in the single-core test and 7346 points in the multi-core test. Furthermore, it is expected to have a 6.7 inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels at a 20:9 aspect ratio. On the rear panel, the phone is said to have a quad-camera setup, including a 64MP primary sensor, a 5MP depth sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 5MP macro sensor. Other features include a 4500mah battery with 25W Super-Fast Charging, NFC, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and Dolby Atmos.
