Infinix Zero 8i goes official with MediaTek G90T SoC and 48MP quad-camera setup

Infinix has added a new smartphone to its ranks in the form of the Zero 8i. It has been launched in Pakistan alongside the Infinix Zero 8. The latter debuted in Indonesia in August and the new Infinix Zero 8i has most of the similar specifications as the standard Zero 8, except the primary and front cameras, which have been downgraded. The handset comes with a quad-camera setup on the back, dual front camera setup, a mid-tier gaming chipset, and a sizeable battery. Pre-orders are slated to begin on October 11 on Daraz.com, and sale will begin on October 15.

Infinix Zero 8i price in Japan and features

Infinix Zero 8i houses a 6.85-inch full HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling, and a dual punch-hole cutout at the top left corner. It draws power from the MediaTek Helio G90T Chipset coupled with ARM Mali-G76 GPU and a multi-dimensional liquid cooling system for heat dissipation. It has 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage that is further expandable via a microSD card slot. Infinix Zero 8 runs Android 10 with XOS 7 custom skin on top.

For photography experience, the phone has a quad rear camera setup which includes a 48MP primary Sony IMX696 sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP sensors. On the front, you get a 16-megapixel primary sensor, accompanied by an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens. A 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support powers the phone. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security.
