Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 have been officially launched in India. The phones come as successors to the Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro from last year. The Realme 8 series comes with FHD+ Super AMOLED displays and fast charging support. Both the Realme 8 Pro and Realme 8 come with quad-rear cameras with different primary sensors.

Realme 8 Pro houses a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie sensor, 90.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, 2,400 x 1,080 pixels resolution, 180Hz touch-sampling rate, and 1000nits brightness. The display also supports a DC-like Dimming function. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor paired with Adreno 618 GPU, up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB UFS 2.1 internal storage that is further expandable. It is the first phone to run on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0. As for the cameras, Realme 8 Pro has a quad-camera setup at the back with a 108MP (f/1.88 aperture) Samsung HM2 primary sensor with PDAF and 6P Lens, an 8MP (f/2.25 aperture) ultra-wide-angle lens with a 119-degree field of view, a 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP B&W lens. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G95 SoC paired with Mali-G76 MC4 GPU. For photos and videos, Realme 8 offers a quad-camera setup at the back with a 64MP (f/1.79 aperture) primary sensor. The rear-cameras support features like starry mode, tilt-shift, dynamic bokeh, panorama, super nightscape, neon portrait, ultra 108MP mode, chroma boost, among others. The Realme 8 packs a 5,000mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support.
