Samsung fans are excited at today’s launch event (August 11th). The Korean tech giant is taking the stage and disclosing all-new Galaxy foldable smartphones, Z Flip3 and Z Fold3. The same event brought us Galaxy Watch4, a standard and a classic version of two different sizes. Yet not over, Samsung has unveiled TWS Galaxy Buds 2 alongside other new products.

Samsung Z Fold3 with Stylus Pen, 120Hz Rate, and In-Display Camera
As we were expecting the Galaxy Z Fold3 brought us a Stylus Pen, but there is no slot like Note smartphones to put inside while not utilizing. It is the first foldable phone to perform under-display camera tactics.
When the display is unfolded, it measures 7.6" in diagonal with 2,208 x 1,768 pixels resolution but more importantly, it can support HDR10+ and 120Hz refresh rate. Unlike before, Camera has a physical appearance on the back – three lenses aligned vertically shaping a column. All of them have 12-Megapixels. Hidden selfie camera is of 4MP. Secondary front lens is 10MP.
Samsung Z Fold3 brings a lot of improvements in the design and overall hardware. There is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. The phone tackles multiple apps, thanks to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Another variant borrows 16GB RAM and 512GB ROM. Galaxy Z Fold 3 runs okay with a 4500 mAh battery, compatible with a 25W Fast Wired and 11W Wireless Charge.

Samsung Z Flip 3 with No Stylus but 120Hz Rate and In-Display Selfie Cam
Samsung's second foldable smartphone on the stage is the Galaxy Z Flip 3 - possessing a clamshell design and a dual rear camera setup. It looks a lot different than the Galaxy Fold3 or much like the previous Z Flip. It's clearly designed to be a full phone with a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display that folds and shrinks into a much smaller square when it's closed. The display offers 1080 x 2636 pixels resolution at a 20:9 aspect ratio. Having a 120Hz refresh rate provides a next-level gaming experience.
The Galaxy Z Flip3 also has a 1.9-inch secondary Super AMOLED positioned on the back of its cover so you can see your notification at a glance. You may have fun while experiencing a hidden selfie camera of 10-megapixels. Two back cameras are also there of 12MP resolution. Driven by the same force as of Galaxy Fold3, there is Snapdragon 888 inside the Z Flip3 – making it a tough rival to its sibling.
One UI 3.1.1 is the new interface of Android 11 for both Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3. You may receive further software and security updates in the future.
Pre-order and Shipment
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are already available on pre-order through the brand’s official website. Whatever country you belong to, the shipment will start worldwide by the end of August or early September 2021.
