Samsung and LG phones have been in the market for a very long time and have provided consumers with great products with exceptional quality. As 2017 passes and the release dates of many new devices close in, nothing excites us more than the launch of Flagship models of both the companies. Samsung to launch its latest Galaxy S8/S8 Plus and LG will mark the New Year with the new LG G6.
The New Year provides Samsung to redeem its reputation after the colossal failure of Galaxy Note 7 and climb the ladders in the market again. Likewise, LG aims to achieve a more positive response than its previous G5. Both the new devices are high-end with the latest hardware installed making them the crown jewels of the companies. Here are some rumors that we have heard regarding both the flagships;
Qualcomm recently announced its latest chipset, the Snapdragon 835 with Adreno 540 GPU and it can be expected that both the devices will be powered by the chip. There is speculation regarding Samsung’s latest Exynos chipset with Mali-G71 GPU which the company intends to use for some high-end Vehicular computer systems like in Audi. It can be expected that the Galaxy S8 will come out guns blazing with this powerful processor. Both devices can be expected to have 6GB RAM with the latest Universal Flash Storage (UFS) memory via a hybrid card slot that supports microSD cards too. The UFS cards will provide unparalleled performance and support capacities of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Both phones will have their own user interfaces atop the latest Android 7.1 Nougat platform.

Both devices look extremely promising. Bringing features that make all the tech junkies drool in amazement. There are a minor differences here and there but it will prove to be a tougher challenge for the consumer selection as both Flagships compete equally in performance and optics. The only differences that might tip the balance in favor of either devices is the Samsung voice assistant Bixby that will be integrated into a wide array of core programs of the device to enable voice control of the device. LG is rumored to be working on an assistant of its own that might compete with Samsung. LG’s waterproof body and its own fast charging option seems to set it apart.
