Google Pixel 4a shines on Geekbench with SDM 730 Chipset and 6GB RAM

Recently, there have been reports pointing towards a May 22nd launch date for the upcoming Google Pixel 4A. Unlike the current Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL, the Pixel 4A will be a more affordable model that will be catering towards the mid-ranger segment. The Google Pixel 4A will be utilizing an octa-core Snapdragon 730 SoC which was confirmed by its Geekbench 4.4.2 listing spotted today.

The same listing also revealed that the phone will have 6GB worth of RAM and runs on the latest Android 10 OS out of the box. In terms of performance, the Pixel 4A has achieved a really decent score of 2,529 points and 6,366 points respectively for its single-core and multi-core test. If we talk about the expected hardware, then the Pixel 4a is already confirmed to arrive with a punch-hole display. It is expected to pack an OLED display measuring 5.81-inches. The display is said to deliver an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device is said to offer a single 12.2MP rear camera which will be housed in a square-module. The selfie department is reported to be handled by an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Google will pack a Titan-M chip for enhanced security. Speaking of which, the device will sport a fingerprint scanner at the rear panel and also have a Face Unlock feature for security.
