Google Pixel 4a with 5.8-inch OLED display and SD 730G announced

Google Pixel 4a is official now - months after being a part of the rumor mill. The new Pixel phone, which is the successor to the Pixel 3a, comes with a fresh display that flaunts a hole-punch design. The smartphone has a single camera at both the front and back sides. Other features of the Pixel 4a including Titan M security module and the presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a rear fingerprint sensor. Google Pixel 4a price starts at $349 for the 6GB + 128GB model. The phone is initially available for pre-order in the US via the Google Store and on Google Fi. Additionally, Google announced that the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 will be launching this fall.

The Google Pixel 4a features a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED display with a punch-hole on the top left corner and slim bezels all around. The display supports HDR+ and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Pixel 4a is powered by the mid-range Snapdragon 730G chipset paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The handset gets a single 12MP camera at the back with OIS support and an LED flash. The camera comes with features like Live HDR+, dual exposure controls, Night Sight with astrophotography, Portrait Mode, and Super Res Zoom. Upfront, the Google Pixel 4a gets an 8MP selfie camera.

Google Pixel 4a mid-range smartphone packs a 3,140mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging. The device features stereo speakers, 3.5mm headphone jack, and a polycarbonate unibody that includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone is equipped with a Titan M security chip and Google features like Assistant, Live Transcribe, Live Caption, and more.
