Huawei has quietly unveiled a new budget-friendly smartphone known as the Huawei P Smart 2021 in several European markets. It has arrived as the successor for the Huawei P Smart (2020) that went official in April this year. The smartphone comes in color options such as Midnight Black, Brush Gold, and Crush Green and will be available for purchase in October.

The Huawei P Smart 2021 is built around a 6.67-inches LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution. It is in fact the first Huawei smartphone to come with a central hole-punch design. The phone offers a screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 percent. The P Smart 2021 offers an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The back panel of the smartphone has a rectangular camera setup that houses a 48-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultrawide sensor with a 120-degree FOV and f/2.4 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. There is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it is powered by Kirin 710A SoC which is paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB storage. It runs EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 OS. To keep its lights on, the device is fitted with a massive 5,000mAh battery with 22.5W Huawei’s SuperCharge charging support.
