Back in December, Samsung announced the new Galaxy A-series smartphones – Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 with Super AMOLED display, centered punch-hole, under-display fingerprint sensor, and L-shaped quad-camera setup. After receiving the best response from Galaxy A71’s 4G variant, the South Korean tech giant is preparing to launch its 5G variant. Recently, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G has spotted on the Wi-Fi Alliance database with a model number SM-A7160.

As seen in the Bluetooth SIG certification image, the Samsung Galaxy A71 5G moniker has finally been confirmed with its model number of SM-A7160. Unfortunately, the Bluetooth SIG certification listing hasn’t revealed any other details of the upcoming Samsung A71 5G variant. However, a few basic features were spotted earlier during the Geekbench tests. The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy A71 5G revealed that it is fueled by an Exynos 980 SoC with 8GB of RAM. The device runs Android 10 out of the box with Samsung’s One UI 2.0 skin on top. The handset scored 3,078 points at the Geekbench single-core test and 7,346 points in the multi-core tests. The rest of the specifications are expected to be similar to the 4G model and should include a 6.7-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The A71 5G may use the same camera, which will consist of a 32-megapixel camera on the front for Selfies and video calls, on the back of the handset there is a 64MP quad-camera setup.
