Samsung Galaxy S10 to be the first to get Snapdragon 855 SoC based on 7nm processor

Qualcomm recently released the first 7nm processor based modem, X24, which enables up to 2Gbps download speed at 4G LTE network. According to report, Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC is under development and new 7nm based X24 modem is expected to hit upcoming Qualcomm SoC. A few weeks ago, Qualcomm launched Snapdragon 845 chipset which features X20 LTE modem that allows 1.2Gbps download speed so it is clear that the new LTE modem will be available in upcoming Qualcomm chip, SD855. Samsung says that it will start mass production of such chipsets in early 2019 while the Galaxy S9 will be launched with Snapdragon 845 at MWC 2018, the event which is a few days away. Qualcomm is said to have a lunch event for Snapdragon 855 in end of this year and Samsung will unveil its next high-end device in early 2019 so it is expected that the Galaxy S10 will be the first one to get Snapdragon 855 chipset which will be based on incredible 7nm processor and certainly it will reduce power consumption and enhance performance in a great way.

Unfortunately, we’ve nothing to say about the specs and price of Samsung Galaxy S10 but we can say that surely it will provide greater experience with more powerful 7nm processor. Currently you should concern with shiny new Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ which are near to launch.
