After being banned and making a comeback, TikTok is now one of the most popular free apps on the Google Play Store. It has over 500 million downloads and enables users to create short lip-synced or standard videos with an option to throw in various effects and filters. Our many members, who are using the Tik Tok app, have received notifications from Google Play Store – Remove this malicious app from your devices. According to Google Play, “this app (Tik Tok) tries to spy on your personal data, such as SMS messages, photos, audio recordings, or call history. Even if you have heard of this app or the app developer, this version of the app could harm your device.” If the user removes this message from the notification bar, Google play sends, again and again, notification for uninstalling this harmful app from your device.

These notifications indicate that Google could remove the TikTok app from Google Play Store. Here are some screenshots from TikTok users who are receiving warning notifications from yesterday.
