Xiaomi officially launched the Xiaomi 12T and Xiaomi 12T Pro on October 04, 2022. Like previous T-series handsets, the 12T and 12T Pro maintain their delicate balance of improving performance against friendly price points. Three main features come to mind when discussing the Xiaomi T version, an incredibly high-resolution camera, a high-end display, and fast charging. And these apply to the brand new Xiaomi 12T as well.

Xiaomi 12T is the successor to the Xiaomi 11T. The 12T model builds on a 6.67 inches AMOLED screen with 1220 x 2712 high-resolution with more colors thanks to native 12-bit color support and 120Hz, HDR10+ refresh rate. While the AMOLED part of the equation is on par with the competition, the low refresh rate makes the phone feel sluggish when scrolling through social media platforms. Xiaomi 12T 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Ultra chipset for performance. The operating system, Android 12, MIUI 13, is given. The phone comes with Octa-core 4x2.85 GHz Cortex-A78 and 4x2.0 GHz Cortex-A55 CPU, and Mali-G610 MC6 GPU is a perfect match for better performance.

The Xiaomi 2T 5G has a triple camera setup on the back with a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 2MP macro lens. The device has a 20MP selfie front camera. The primary 108MP camera can record up to 4K@30fps, 1080p@30/60fps resolution videos, while the selfie camera can shoot videos up to 1080p@30/60fps. As with most flagship phones, the 12T 5G packs with stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos. Other features include NFC, Bluetooth (5.2 on the 12T Pro, 5.3 on the 12T), Fingerprint reader (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, color spectrum sensor, and an infrared remote. With the 12T series based on Android 12, Xiaomi guarantees three years of Android OS updates and four years of security patches.
