A new report from Google support claims that the Google’s Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL will get OS and security patches for 3 years. Google silently added a sheet (pictured below) which shows that Pixel smartphones will receive software updates until October 2020. It is mentioned that after the valid date Google can’t guarantee more updates. But for now it is the good news for Google fans to get 3 years Android version updates and security patches for free. Google Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL are available at various shops for reasonable prices with their high end specs so if you decide to get a Google smartphone then don’t waste your time and buy either of these shiny new flagships and enjoy more.
