So far the keen observers have been looking for details about Galaxy Alpha but they had not succeeded in finding out much. We have been able to reach some leaks that reveal some details about the device for example the body is made up with aluminum and the type of software the manufacturers are thinking to put in to it. Recently we have got the leaks giving out its specs and something about performance. Similarly Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A (SM-G901F) also got leaked out.
Galaxy Alpha has a pre determined design to have a 4.8-inch, 720p AMOLED display and Samsung's Exynos 5430 (not 5433) Octa processor with four Cortex-A15 and four Cortex-A7 cores, capable of running in combination of components. Besides that according to one source Galaxy Alpha was also designed to have a 12 mega pixel rear camera and some other accessories like fingerprint scanner and a heart-rate monitor. It was not meant to be water and dust proof which seems to be a major flaw. It contains 2 GB DDR 3 RAM which is quite powerful.
On the other side Galaxy S5 LTE-A is not as similar to the original version specific for South Korea. According to the leak news it has Exynos 5430 Octa processor and 2GB of RAM. As compare to Galaxy Alpha it has 5.1 inches display with 1080x1920 pixels resolution super AMOLED touch screen. Otherwise remaining specifications are almost same as Galaxy S5; has a similar camera of 16-megapixel ISOCELL camera with additional features like heart rate monitor and finger print sensor.
