Samsung Galaxy S5 is one of the famous flagships of Samsung and has many versions. Now there is another version on the surface. The new version is named “Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+”. The new version of the handset will be available in Singapore soon; might be the handset will appear publically on 23rd August.
The new Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ comes with 5.1 inches full HD display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The handset is powered with 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor. Company placed 2GB RAM inside the handset. Other specifications of the handset are similar to Galaxy S5. The handset has 16 mega pixel rear and 2.1 mega pixel front facing camera and it’s energized with 2100 mAh battery. The handset also has water and dust resistance because the handset is IP67 certified. This is not enough, the handset is also protected with Gorilla Glass 3 which gives the scratch proof ability to the handset screen. Besides these features the handset supports 4G LTE-Advanced and will make use of SingTel’s 300Mbps 4G network.
SingTel is one of the largest mobile carriers in Singapore. The handset Galaxy S5 4G+ will be available with this mobile carrier. The carrier offers the handset on 23rd August. The carrier is asking SG$688 for this handset but this is the no contract price. The handset also will be available in on contract price but there is no information available till yet for on contract price of the handset. The on contract price will be revealed when the handset arrives in the region. Till then we have to wait and see what the price of the handset on contract basis.
Beside this version Samsung is also preparing another version of their upcoming handset named “Galaxy Alpha”. The new version expectedly called “Samsung Galaxy Alpha 4G+”. The handset will be available somewhere in September but one thing is confirmed the same carrier will offer this version of the handset to.
