Xiaomi gets popular amongst the users in very short time and now the company considered one of the best smartphone manufacturers in China. Records show that the company sold more handset in comparison with Samsung in the 2nd quarter of the year.
There are other giants as well in the Chinese markets and selling the smartphones before Xiaomi existence. Lenovo is another giant who has a very strong foot in the smartphone market in China and there is no doubt that the company launched many handsets with good specs and in a very competitive price. Now company has a plan to strike Xiaomi but how let us have a look.
Wall Street Journal published the fact that the Lenovo is going to set the new smartphone company with new brand name. The company sells the smartphones online only in China initially. The same step Xiaomi takes when the company rises. The new company will start working on coming year on April 1st. The name of the company and the brand is under the cover now. In the mean while Lenovo will sell their handsets according to their policy and trends and promote the new brand as well.
Lenovo is one of the largest smartphone manufactures and the company stands in the fourth position in smartphone manufacturing. Well we have to wait and watch how the new hidden rival hit the Xiaomi and snatch the position to grab the markets in China.
