Honor X10 confirmed to have RYYB image sensor

The upcoming Honor X10 is now up for reservations on Vmall. The retailer site from Huawei carries high quality renders of the smartphone. Recent rumors revealed that one of the major attractions of the smartphone is that it will be equipped with an RYYB image sensor. Today, the Chinese firm took to Weibo to confirm that the Honor X10 will indeed be equipped with an RYYB sensor.

The TENAA listing of the Honor X10 has suggested that its rear-facing triple camera system has a 40-megapixel main lens, an 8-megapixel lens, and a 2-megapixel sensor. The rumor mill revealed that the 40-megapixel lens could be a Sony IMX600y RYYB custom sensor. With the new poster released, the X10 is now confirmed to sport the impressive lens that will help users to capture better shots in low-light conditions. Another new leak reveals that the Honor X10 will use a dual-rail pop-up camera structure. As for the other specs, the Honor X10 smartphone has a 6.63-inch IPS LCD panel. It is a notch-less display that produces Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a tall aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen supports the 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. The Kirin 820 5G chipset powers the Honor X10. The handset is expected to come with up to 8 GB of RAM.
