Huawei Y8p goes official with 48MP triple camera setup and Kirin 710F Chipset

Huawei has quietly launched a new phone called the Huawei Y8p. The device is actually rebadged of the Enjoy 10s that was announced in China last October. The Huawei Y8p is available in Breathing Crystal and Midnight Black. The phone features a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display with a waterdrop notch for the 16MP front-facing camera. There is also an in-display fingerprint scanner. The back is covered in glass and is home to the triple rear camera setup arranged vertically.

The chipset inside is the Kirin 710F and it is paired with 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Huawei ships the phone with a 48MP primary rear camera and an 8MP 120-degree ultrawide-angle camera while a 2MP depth sensor serves as the third rear camera. There is an AIS Handheld Night Mode for capturing beautiful night shots.

The Huawei Y8p has a 4000mAh battery capacity that supports 10W charging. The phone runs EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10. There is no Google Mobile Services but Huawei’s Mobile Services which includes Huawei AppGallery and Huawei MEETime is pre-installed. It has Bluetooth 5.0, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, Dual-SIM, NFC, USB Type-C, and an audio jack.
