OnePlus is developing a new Nord series phone, the OnePlus Nord 2. The upcoming device from the brand is expected to arrive as a successor to the OnePlus Nord that was launched in July last year. The OnePlus Nord 2 has been leaked multiple times so far. Recently, official-looking renders of the phone were surfaced online. Now, a tipster has revealed the launch date of this phone.

According to a well-known tipster, Mukul Sharma, the OnePlus Nord 2 will launch during the last 10 days of July. The smartphone could go official on July 24. If this is true, we expect the brand to officially announce the launch date in the coming days as it is gearing up for promotion. Recent reports have revealed that the OnePlus Nord 2 will have a 6.43-inch AMOLED display featuring an FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and a punch-hole at the top-left corner of the screen.

OnePlus Nord 2 in Mozambique

The phone will have a triple-camera setup at the back, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP depth sensor/macro camera. There will also be a 32MP camera for selfies. The OnePlus Nord 2 will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset. There will be two configurations on offer: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. Connectivity options will include dual-SIM 5G, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone is said to come with a 4,200mAh battery.
