Honor has officially unveiled the brand new Honor Play 5 smartphone in the Chinese market. The phone comes in gradient, purple and black colors. The key highlights of the phone include a MediaTek Dimensity SoC, OLED display, 64MP primary sensor, and a 66W fast charging. The Honor Play 5 will go on sale in China on May 26.

The newly launched Honor Play 5 features a 6.53-inch OLED display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It comes with the usual dewdrop-notch upfront that houses a 16MP selfie camera. The phone arrives with a square-shaped quad rear camera setup which includes a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

Under the hood, the Honor Play 5 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset. The SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It packs a 3,800mAh battery that supports 66W fast-charging, which is capable of delivering a full charge in around 35 minutes. On the software side, we have Android 10 OS with Magic UI 4.0.
