Apple may Replace Lightening Port with USB C in iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

The rumor mill spins numerous rumors about Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus smartphone, now according to the Wall Street Journal, Apple could swap the Lightning Port on the upcoming iPhone 8 with USB C.

The news doesn’t sound authentic because Apple doesn’t seem to drop its Lightening port, because it is special to the company and it can’t eliminate it just because to follow industry standards. The 4.7inch iPhone 8 and 5.5 inch iPhone 8 Plus will come with a major redesign it will be crafted with a stainless steel chassis and a glass back.

The next flagship will come in three variants; two models will come with standard display while one smartphones will feature an OLED display, which can be more flexible as compared to other smartphones in the Apple’s line-up. There will be edge-to-edge display which will give wide view. The smartphone will support wireless charging feature so for charging your device you don’t need to connect it with a physical charger.

The Touch ID and front camera may be directly developed into the display. Apple may want to introduce an iPhone, which may look like a slim glass sheet. The OLED display will allow company to make the device thinner and slimmer than ever before. The smartphone would be water resistant just like iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus but IP68 rating will be improved.

The next flagship will be powered with A11 chipset and it would function faster than its predecessor. The camera quality will also be improved and it will come with larger and powerful battery.
