World’s largest electronics fair begins at Berlin and surprisingly there is no American manufacturer taking part in this biggest show whereas Asian manufacturers such as Samsung and Huawei are very active and will give the proper appearance in the show.
Samsung has released their smartwatch before their official press conference which takes place today and released their smartwatch yesterday known as Samsung Gear S2. According to the report, the smartwatch watch runs Tizen operating system and this is the very first product presented in IFA 2015 from the Korean giant. The Gear S2 is the round shape Tizen-based smartwatch.
Huawei appears today in the event and this Chinese manufacturer has the plan to release their Mate S Smartphone which seems to be the highly configured Android phone come with Knuckle Control 2.0 and Fingerprint 2.0. These two are the newly added features we will see in this new smartphone. The new Fingerprint 2.0 is more active, sensitive and advance. It enhances the security level and the sense of gratitude sensors. This sensor allow the users to perform many functions such as taking the phone calls, view the images and see the notification bars; just put the finger on the sensor which is placed back side the smartphone and the Knuckle Control 2.0 offers the users to control the camera functions by drawing the C in the screen of the smartphone and all the camera functions are activated. We also expect that the new Mate S comes with the new Force Touch technology. According to the CEO of Huawei’s consumer division “the company is going to introduce the new innovative controlling and interactive features and gesture will not only control the smartphone, the pressure of controlling is also the considerable factor and users will see the complete combination of both factors in this Mate S smartphone and in the simple word “push harder, zoom closer” is the basic function”.

Acer is another Asian giant here with us. As per our expectations the company comes with the new Android phone and a new Android based gamming tablet. Both devices are known as Predator 6 Smartphone and Predator 8 Android gaming tablet respectively. However the prices of the devices are still not released yet but we have a general idea that the Predator 8 tablet will go on sale in the price of $225.
Sony when we talk about the Asian manufacturers we do not forget about Sony which also unveiled their complete series of smartphones known as Xperia Z5 including Z5 Compact and Z5 Premium with UHD display. All these are the Android phones and have the complete variety in specifications and users don’t need to compromise with their requirements.
Asus launched their ZenWatch 2 with many improvements. The ZenWatch will be available in the month of October in the convenient price of 149 Euro. The ZenWatch 2 has Gorilla Glass 3 display and the fast battery charging option and charge 50% battery in just 36 minutes. The watch will be available in 4 colors.
Lenovo is also present their Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m new smartphones. The purpose behind launching these smartphones is to provide the long lasting battery to the users and the P1 is powered with 5000mAh battery which is a powerful battery available in the market till yet. The Lenovo Vibe P1 and Vibe P1m will be available in the mid of September or early October in the price of $280 and $160.
Latest Windows 10 devices unveiled in IFA 2015
As we know there is no American manufacturer of Smartphone and tablets participating in IFA the biggest electronic currently held in Berlin. It is ruled by Asian manufacturers, but some manufacturers have revealed their new devices that operate on Windows 10 Operating system.
The usage of smartphones and tablets has increased among the users and for targeting this specific field many manufacturers has introduced the devices running Windows 10 operating system. Toshiba is the first that released their new Satellite Radius 12 which is the 12 inches laptop this week. The new Toshiba Satellite Radius 12 comes with the latest 4K display which is exclusively designed for handling the Windows 10 graphics. The laptop also has the special microphone and a separate button for Cortana which is pre-programmed digital assistant of Microsoft for voice control and IR camera to identify the users. With this new Windows, 10 operating system, Toshiba expects to increase their sales in future. Toshiba sets $1627 price tag for this laptop.
Another new device also makes the debut in IFA 2015 named Satellite Click 10. This is the 2 in 1 laptop and can be uses as tablet by detaching the screen. This new tablet also runs the latest Windows 10 operating system. The company has planned to hit the market with this tablet in coming month with the price of 499 Euros.
According to the Microsoft, there are more than 75 million devices presently operating on Windows 10 operating system from the date it became official since the last week of July.
It applies to other educational computers introduced in this IFA such as Acer Aspire 1 Cloudbook which is a complete PC available in the price of $169 which seems to be the low-end computer running the same Windows 10. They all fall in the category of under $200 ChromeBooks from Google.
Alcatel released new line of smartphones including OneTouch Go Play, One Touch Pixi, and Pop Star
The French communication company Alcatel also launched the new line of smartphones in IFA 2015. The smartphones are specially targeted for the mid and low range device category. The new line of smartphones includes ‘OneTouch Pixi’ which is the first Android phone of the company, ‘One Touch pop Star’ and ‘One Touch Go’ are the rugged smartphones have also been presented by Alcatel.
Alcatel OneTouch Pixi is the low-end device with 4 inches display with 480x800 pixels resolution. Alcatel maintains its spatiality in making the slimmest low-end smartphones; ‘Pixi One’ measures only 9.7mm in thickness. The handset is powered with 1.2GHz Quad Core processor paired with Spredtrum 7731 chipset. This Android Phone has 512 MB RAM and has 4 GB internal memory which can be increased via the MicroSD card. The Alcatel OneTouch Pixi has 5 MP rear and 2 MP front-facing camera and runs 4.4 KitKat version of Android operating system. It is energized with 1450mAh Battery which provides 300 hours standby and 7 hours backup time to the users. The smartphone will be available in plenty of colors with the price of $89.
Alcatel One Touch Go Play is the rugged handset announced by Alcatel which is able to endure the rough handling. One Touch Go Play is the first on budget handset in water and dust proof body. As per the company tradition, the handset is available in many colors and has 5 inches TFT screen with 720 pixels resolution. The handset has 1 GB RAM, has Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor. This mobile also belongs to the Android family. This rough smartphone One Touch Go Play has 8 GB inbuilt memory which can be increased up to 32 GB via MicroSD card and has the sufficient pair of cameras as 8MP rear and 5 MP front facing camera. The handset is energized with 2500mAh battery with gives 20 days standby time to the handset and 8.3 hours of talk time to the users.
Alcatel One Touch Pop Start is another budget phone released by the company. The handset comes in two versions 3G and 4G. Besides the connectivity options, the other specs of both versions are slightly changed. The Pop Star 3G has 5 inches display with 720 pixels resolution and featured with Quad Core 1.3 GHz processor paired with MediaTek MT6580 chipset and has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB expandable internal memory. The One Touch Pop Star has 8 MP rear and 5 MP front facing a camera and powered with the 2000mAh replaceable battery. The One Touch Pop Star 4G has the same display but featured with different chipset and processor as 1GHz quad-core 64-bit MediaTek MT6735P. The RAM is same, but the inbuilt memory is changed as 16 GB with the same expendable feature. The camera, battery, and the operating system is also similar in both versions.
Alcatel One Touch Pop Up is the strongest contestant present by the company. The handset has 5 inches HD display with 720 pixels resolution and powered with octa-core 1.4GHz CPU combined with Snapdragon 610 chipset. It is featured with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB expendable on board memory. The handset has 13 MP rear and 5 MP front facing the camera and is available in Black, Amber Orange, Riva Blue, White, and Red color options. Unfortunately, the price of the handset is still not known and will be announced at the time of open market release.
Alcatel Presents 13 inches Pixi 3 10 tablets in IFA 2015
Alcatel is in the spotlight in IFA 2015 with their new line of smartphones; the company not only released the smartphones but also presented the Pixi 3 10 Android tablet which comes in 10 inches display.
The Pixi 3 10 tablet has 1280x800 pixels resolution and comes in two different connectivity models. One has the Wi-Fi connectivity and the other has 3G ability. The Pixi 3 is offered in different screen sizes; 7 inches and 8 inches display.
All models of the Pixi 3 run the latest Android 5.0 lollipop operating system. This Android tablet comes in two colors, black and white. The Pixi 3 10 is featured with MediaTek MT8127 chipset paired with dual-core processor. The tablet has 1 GB RAM and 16 GB on Board memory which can be increased up to 64 GB via the microSD card. The tablet offers 5 MP rear and 2 MP front facing a cameras. The tablet is energized with a 4060mAh battery.
There is no exact release date and price available till yet, but it is expected that the tablet will hit the markets soon with all its glory and shine with the reasonable price tag.
