Huawei G9 Lite and Media Pad M2 7.0 are up for Pre-orders in China

Today the Huawei G9 Lite is launched in China, next to the Media Pad M2 7.0 tablet. The smartphone is a contained variant of the P9 Lite for the Chinese market.

When it comes to the specifications, the Huawei G9 supports 5.2" 1080p screen and it is powered by the firm’s Kirin 650 chipset with a 2.0GHz octa-core CPU. The smartphone has a 3GB of RAM and 16GB expandable internal storage. The mobile maker incorporated a fingerprint scanner of the backside of the mobile. The Huawei G9 posses a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and 8MP selfie snapper with with f/2.0 aperture. A 3000 mAh non-removable battery keeps the device on. The mobile doesn’t supports fast charging so doesn’t expect there will be a fast charging feature in the Huawei G9.


If we talk about MediaPad M2 the device is already available with either 10.1 inch display or an 8.0 inch display but today Huawei launched smaller version of MediaPad M2. The new version comes with 7.0 1080p resolution display and a fingerprint scanner. The phablet is powered by Snapdragon 615 chipset and own a 3BG of RAM.It comes in 16GB native storage and 32GB storage options. There is a 13MP main snapper with lED flash and 5MP selfie snapper. The MediaPad M2 supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, A2DP, EDR, LE, A-GPS, and GLONASS connectivity.


The Huawei G9 Lite will be available for $260 (CNY 1699) and it will come in Black, White, and Gold color options. Pre-orders are open and both devices will go on sale on 13 May.
