Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i Unveiled with Dynamic RAM expansion

As scheduled, Realme has unveiled Realme 8s 5G and Realme 8i. The former is a mid-ranger, whereas the later one is an affordable Smartphone. A similar characteristic of both gadgets is Dynamic RAM expansion, which is actual virtual RAM already available in Oppo and Vivo mobiles. Realme 8s and 8i add up to 5GB virtual RAM.

Talking about Realme 8s 5G, it is a 6.5-inch device with Full HD+ display and 90Hz refresh rate. Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 comes pre-installed in these phones. The power drives by Dimensity 810 processor. It is available in two memory variants that are 6GB / 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB Storage. Having a 5000 mAh battery, the handset allows 33W DART charging technology. There is a 64MP quad camera setup, capable for 4k video recording. On the front, it has a 16-Megapixels Selfie camera.

Coming towards Realme 8i, the budget phone brings 120Hz display of 6.59 inches and 1080p resolution. Its camera setup contains triple rear sensors including a 50MP while a 16MP front shooter. Available in 4GB RAM and 128GB Storage, the Realme 8i promises a long gameplay session, thanks to 5000 mAh powerhouse. Unlike 8s version, it does not support DART charge.

Realme Pad Goes Official, getting 10.4inches Display and 7100mAh Battery

One of the world's thinnest tablets, Realme Pad, is only 6.9 mm thick. The device sports a 10.4inch Full HD+ display and runs on Android 11 OS. The front and back camera is 8MP. With the Realme Pad, users are getting Helio G80 chipset and 4GB RAM. Another 6GB RAM variant is also offered. There is only one storage option and that is 64GB. Thanks Gosh! MicroSD slot is available. Battery is of 7100 mAh and is compatible with 18W Fast Charge.

Vivo X70, X70 Pro, and X70 Pro+ Launched

After a lot of teasers, rumors and leaks, Vivo has finally introduced the X70 lineup. The vanilla Vivo X70 and X70 Pro have 6.56-inch Super AMOLED display, Full HD resolution, and 120H resolution. The standard has Dimensity 1200 chip while the Pro gets Exynos 1080 chipset. Both pack a 12GB RAM. Even they have same 32MP selfie camera but still they have some differences in back camera setup. Vivo X70 has 40MP wide, 12MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide sensor. It is eligible for 4k video rec and enables EIS. On the other hand, the X70 Pro offers 50MP wide, 8MP periscope, 12MP telephoto, and 12MP ultrawide. The Pro allows 8K shooting and support EIS as well as OIS.

The most premium version, Vivo X70 Pro+ surpasses in every department. There is 6.78-inch QHD+ display by Super AMOLED, Snapdragon 888+ chipset, and 12GB RAM packed in Vivo X70 Pro+. It has almost same camera setup as of X70 Pro, but the only difference is 48MP ultrawide (instead of 12MP).

Three smartphones have battery capacities as follows, 4400mAh (44W) for standard, 4450mAh (44W) for Pro, and 4500mAh (55W) for Pro Plus. All of them have 32MP selfie camera and 5G connectivity.

MediaTek announced Kompanio 900T 5G chipset

As expected, Mediatek unveiled a new 5G chipset called Kompanio 900T. It is working on two ARM Cortex-A78 cores and six ARM Cortex-A55 cores. Kompanio 900T is compatible with  ARM Mali-G68 GPU, a MediaTek APU (AI processor), LPDDR5 memory, up to 2K resolution display with 120Hz refresh rate, 5G, and Wi-Fi 6. There is no word on which upcoming mobile will get this chipset.

Tecno Spark 8 arriving in India on 13th September

The latest budget Smartphone by Tecno, Spark 8 has already unveiled in South Africa last week. Asia seems to be the next destination. The brand has confirmed they are launching Spark 8 on September 13 in India. The key specs of Spark 8 are 6.5inch notched display, Helio P22 chip, 2GB RAM, and 5000 mAh battery. It is a 4G phone running on Android 11 Go edition.

Xiaomi 11T duo to offer three Android updates and four years security patch

As we know, Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil 11T and 11T Pro. A recent report from GSMArena claimed that Xiaomi 11T duo will receive three Android OS updates and four years security patches. It means if Xiaomi 11T or 11T Pro is running Android 11 out of the box, it will get Android 12 and so on operating system update.

Xiaomi is holding a launch event on September 15. There are high anticipations that Xiaomi 11T and 11T Pro will take the stage.

This may possible a Nord phone, as OnePlus is already launching various affordable smartphones under Nord series. The name is still mysterious. A tipster Yogesh Brar suggested new OnePlus Nord device to arrive either by Q4 2021 or Q2 2022. Asia may be the first destination. As of now, OnePlus Nord N100 is the cheapest mobile by brand.
