LG V50 ThinQ 5G

The first 5G smartphone by LG, V50 ThinQ wonders you with Dual Screen accessory that is a sort of foldable screen which lets the user play streams on the primary display while texting on the secondary one. The dual screen accessory is not assembled permanently with the V50 ThinQ 5G, you have to buy it separately with a casing for attachment. It makes easier to enjoy games like Asphalt Nitro 8 or PUBG.

LG brings new innovations with Hand ID, Veins ID, 3D Face Unlock and Rear Fingerprint Scanner to solve biometric issues. You may know 3D Face Unlock and Fingerprint biometric, but the Hand ID and Veins ID are completely new. Hand ID recognizes user palm for unlocking and follows the finger movements for gestures support which is called Air Motion gesture to volume up or down or take images. Veins ID reads consumer's veins and unlocks V50 when hands-on.

There is a 6.4inches AMOLED Display, QHD+ resolution, HDR10, Dolby Vision, Always-on support, and 19.5:9 viewing aspect. LG V50 ThinQ 5G has come up with Dual Selfie Cams, 8MP (f/1.9) RGB lens + 5MP (f/2.2) depth sensor. There are Triple Photography Cameras at the back, 12MP (f/1.5) wide-angle optics + 12MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor + 16MP (f/2.2) ultrawide lens. Let’s shoot smooth 4k videos at 30 and 60 fps while FHD movies at 120fps.

LG 5G smartphone is claimed to deliver 20 times faster downloads than the 4G LTE band. We can download 1GB movies within seconds. This achievement becomes possible with Snapdragon 855 and X50 modem, thanks to Qualcomm.

The all other specs are similar to the V40 ThinQ except the hardware upgrade and battery. There is an Adreno 640 GPU and a 4000mAh longer life battery which is compatible with 18W Quick Charge 3.0 (50% in 30mins) and Qi 10W Fast Wireless Charging. The LG smartphone comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB Internal Storage.

LG V50 ThinQ 5G boots Android 9.0 (Pie), having metal glass body that is MIL-STD-810G complaint rated at IP68 for dust and water resistance up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Corning Gorilla Glass 5 is equipped on the front as well as back. The handset is available in only Astro Black.

LG G8 ThinQ

The G8 ThinQ doesn’t support 5G and Dual Screen accessory, but there you will find those of triple rear optics, dual selfies, SD855 hardware, and Android Pie software.
