Liwan Jiang Co-founder Xiaomi Allegedly Confirms Mi 5's Launch date

 

Previously we heard many rumors about upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5 flagship. Now new news adds spice in previous leaks, according to new reports Liwan Jiang Co-founder of Xiaomi has also confirmed that upcoming flagship Mi 5 will be released in February.

 


 Liwan Jiang also exposed that Xiaomi Mi 5 mobile will be unveiled after Chinese festival, which will be held on February 8. After the launch date Xiaomi Mi 5 will be available for purchase. When it comes to the specifications of the device, it has been officially announced that Xiaomi Mi 5 will have a Snapdragon 820, which is the latest chipset by Qualcomm. According to rumors other specifications include a 5.5 inch display. It has 4GB RAM with 16GB as well as 64GB internal memory options.


In camera section, Xiaomi Mi 5 will have a 16MP primary camera, and an 8MP front camera for capturing a selfie. To keep the device on, 3,600mAh battery will come along, and a fingerprint scanner is also entrenched on the front side of the mobile. It is expected that upcoming flagship will have latest features that will delight Xiaomi users.


 It is also said that the mobile will come in two variants. Both variants will carry a different price tag according to specifications. One model will come with one will have CNY 1,999 price tag and the other will carry CNY 2,499 price tag.
