Lenovo is also gearing up its devices by Google operating system update. The company finally declared the names of its popular smartphones that are going to get marshmallow update such as K3 Note, Vibe S1, Vibe P1, A7000, and A7000 Plus. Whereas, Lenovo has removed the listing of these phones from its page.
During a conference, Lenovo CEO and Chairman Yang Yuanqing spoke that Lenovo Vibe P1 will get brilliant features and the price will be low comparatively. Official Support Page of Lenovo stated that K3 Note, A7000 Plus and A7000 will receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on September 2016. There is too much time to get updates so users stay calm. Well, there is good news for Vibe P1 and Vibe S1 users because they will get Android update on June 2016.
Other popular brands such as Samsung, Motorola and, Sony is also working on to release Android updates for its smartphone. All above smartphones are running 5.0 lollipop except Vibe P1 that was dispatched with 5.1 lollipop. NDTV stated that Lenovo mobile names has removed from its website, that are going to get 6.0 update and release date from its page, might be the company wants to revive the date of updates. So the users have to wait till the company releases new information.
Android update news by Lenovo is released after Huawei officially announced updates in its smartphones. Huawei smartphones such as Honor 4C, Honor 4X, Honor 6, Honor 6 Plus, and Honor 7 will get marshmallow updates in February 2016. Latest Google operating system is updated in 0.3 percent devices worldwide. Percentage is slightly increased from last month it will take some time to get updated operating system in all supported devices. Kitkat and lollipop version still leads the chart of the Android world.
