Today (7-May-21), Nubia President Ni Fei confirmed through a Weibo post that the company will be launching the Nubia Z30 series of smartphones on May 20 in China. In his Weibo post, he specifically mentioned the Nubia Z30 Pro phone. Hence, it is likely that the company may launch two phones, such as the Nubia Z30 and Nubia Z30 Pro, on May 20.

Ni Fei said that Nubia has always been known for offering impressive photography features on its smartphones. He claimed that it would be the first brand to launch a camera phone with SLR functions. The Nubia Z30 series will also offer professional photography experience, and it is expected to specialize in shooting the starry sky. Nubia is yet to reveal the features of the forthcoming Z30 series of smartphones. Leaked images of the Z30 phone have revealed that it could be coming with support for 100x digital zoom. It is expected to arrive with a quad-camera setup at the back panel.

The Nubia Z30’s leaked render also revealed that it will have a curved-edge display that offers a full-screen experience. It might be featuring an in-screen camera as there is no notch or punch-hole cutout on the screen. The phone is also expected to come with 5G and 120W fast charging support.
