OPPO A83 launched with faster Face Unlock and FullView display

OPPO recently launched OPPO A75 and A75s smartphones and now it is introducing a more affordable handset called OPPO A83. The Smartphone comes with facial recognition security which the OPPO claims that it can unlock device within 0.18 seconds which is a very short period of time, less than a second. It is really a big improvement in face unlock security. Moreover, the Company said that it uses 128 unique feature points to recognize your face. The OPPO A83 has a 5.7-inch 18:9 display which means you are getting advantages of FullView display. The IPS LCD technology is used there. It has 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. The handset measures 150.5 x 73.1 x 7.7 mm dimensions and weighs 143 grams.

There is 13MP rear camera and 8MP front camera. OPPO A83 packs in 32GB Storage which is sufficient to save your data. If you feel for more space then you should use microSD slot which can upgrade your memory up to 256GB. It is powered by an Octa core processor which ticks at 2.5GHz speed. It is aided by a 4GB RAM for heavy multi-tasking. To keep device up, there is 3090mAh battery. Software wise, you are getting Color OS 3.2 interface based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The fingerprint is absent because face unlock is already available. Currently, the device is available on pre-order in China for CNY 1399 ($215) and the sales will begin on December 29.
