Back in December 2019, OPPO officially launched its budget-friendly OPPO A91 smartphone. The Chinese smartphone maker now appears to be working on unveiling its potential successor. OPPO A92, the smartphone has recently been approved by the IMDA certification agency in Singapore. The certification hints that the launch date of the OPPO A92 could be imminent. As seen in the IMDA certification image, the OPPO A92 smartphone (with the model number OPPO CPH2059) has started its certification journey, and the first stop appears to be IMDA. This means that the upcoming handset will launch globally pretty soon. The certification further reveals some of the connectivity features of the OPPO A92, such as LTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, and GPS. At the moment, IMDA certification hasn’t revealed any other specs of the Oppo A92. Not speculating too much, but we can expect the OPPO A92 to ship with the Android 10 OS customized with the latest company’s ColorOS 7 layer. The predecessor Oppo A91 has an AMOLED display, so we hope the successor variant will also have AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The OPPO A91 offers a quad rear camera setup, so at least the same could be expected out of its successor.
