Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition coming on August 11

Yesterday (5-August), Xiaomi took Weibo to confirm that it will be launching the Xiaomi Mi 10 Extreme Commemorative Edition. After Xiaomi released the poster, a reservation listing was found in Jingdong Mall. The retailer also carried a reservation listing for the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition. However, the company did not reveal any official confirmation on it. Today, the Chinese firm released a poster that confirms that it will also launch the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition on August 11.

Apart from the Extreme Commemorative Editions of Xiaomi Mi 10 and Redmi K30, the company is expected to launch few more devices on Aug. 11 in celebration of its 10th anniversary. The Mi 10 series phone seems to be the M2007J1SC that recently appeared in 3C’s database, Geekbench, and AnTuTu. The Redmi K30 series phone could be the M2006J10C that recently received approval from the TENAA authority. The M2006J10C phone was previously believed to debut as Redmi K30 Ultra. However, it now seems to be coming as the Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition.

The Redmi K30 Extreme Commemorative Edition could be arriving with a notch-less 6.67-inch AMOLED display that provides Full HD+ resolution. It will have a pop-up selfie camera of 20-megapixel. The rear-facing quad camera setup of the phone may have a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel main camera. The M2006J10C phone is believed to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ Chipset. The handset is expected to arrive in 6 GB, 8 GB, and 12 GB RAM variants and storage models like 128 GB, 256 GB, and 512 GB. The phone will run on Android 10 OS and it offers an in-screen fingerprint reader.
