Samsung has silently unveiled a new Galaxy M12 smartphone in Vietnam. It has arrived as the successor to the Galaxy M12 that was launched last year. The device is available for purchase via retail stores in the country. The new Samsung phone arrives with a water-drop notch display and a metallic back that has ‘soft’ curves. The key specs of the phone include a 48MP quad-camera setup, an HD+ display, and a massive battery.

Samsung Galaxy M12 runs on Android 11 OS and has a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) TFT Infinity-V display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core Exynos 850 SoC that is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the smartphone for additional storage. There is also the side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The phone has an 8MP front camera for selfie experience. For photos and videos, the phone has a quad rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary camera with f/2.0 aperture, a 5MP ultra-wide lens with a 123-degree FOV, a 2MP macro sensor with a focal length of 3cm to 5cm, and a 2MP depth sensor. Samsung Galaxy M12 packs a 6,000 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support.
