Samsung Second Generation Galaxy J2 Gets FCC Certification
The Galaxy J2 smartphone has been up in rumors world for a couple of months, finally the device appeared at FCC website for certification. The listing exposed SM-J210F model number but we can assure that the smartphone would be Galaxy J2 (2016).
In case if you forgot, earlier this month the Galaxy J2 (2016) has already been showed on AnTuTu and Geekbench benchmarks, the websites exposed most of its key specifications such as the Galaxy J2 features a 4.7 inches Super AMOLED screen with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. Whereas other specifications concern is, the device will be powered by Spreadtrum SC8830 SoC with CPU Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A7, clocked at GPU Mali-400MP2. The mobile has 16 GB native storage with 2 GB RAM and runs Android OS, v6.0.1 (Marshmallow).
There is an 8 MP camera on the backside of the device with autofocus and LED flash; there is another 5 MP front shooter. The connectivity options are Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, A-GPS, GLONASS, v4.1, A2DP Bluetooth, NFC, USB microUSB v2.0, and USB On-The-Go. There is anonymous removable Li-Ion battery inside the device and the smartphone comes in Gold, White, and Black color options.
When it comes to the price and release date, there are no official words but we expect to hear about the release date soon. Recently, the successors of the 2nd Gen Galaxy J2 smartphone Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2017) are launched in India with INR 21,000 and INR 17,000.
