Sony announced it is holding a press conference on January 7 to talk about next 5G smartphone plans. Sony didn’t mention any specific details for any smartphone, but the analysts suggested the brand will unveil the Xperia XA3 and Xperia XA3 Ultra at the same time at CES 2019. Though the Xperia XA3 and its Ultra model wouldn’t support 5G, Sony would at least make some announcements for the future 5G mobile phones.
Back in 2018, the earlier rumors were also found claiming the CES 2019 as the launch date of Xperia XA3, XA3 Ultra, and Xperia L3. There is no confirmation as of yet. Talking about the specs and features, the Xperia XA3 series will support 18:9 Display to follow the latest trend.
Sony Xperia XA3 is rumored to get a 5.9-inch display, FHD+ resolution, the latest Android 9.0 Pie, dual 23MP + 5MP rear cameras, 8MP front camera, Snapdragon 660 chipset, Adreno 512 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64 GB Memory, and 3600mAh battery. It would feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Sony Xperia XA3 Ultra will have an extra large display than the standard and it will get 6GB RAM, 128GB ROM, and long-lasting battery. The rest of the specifications will be identical to the base model. The Price of Xperia XA3 might be $400 while the ultra version will cost a little higher.
