Tizen-based Samsung Galaxy S5 is in the testing stage
Before a month ago Samsung introduced its first Tizen based smartphone named “Samsung Z”. South Korean company its now test the Galaxy S5 with Tizen operating system in place of Android.
Zauba listed on their website the Tizen based Galaxy S5 variants recently tested by the South Korean company. The test process by no means assures that the Galaxy S5 will be commercialized without Android S5. Presently all Galaxy series come with Android operating system and Samsung has a plan to reveal Galaxy S5 with their own designed Tizen operating system.
Probably Samsung has a plan to make a Tizen based handsets with similar hardware as Galaxy S5 but we cannot rule out the probability of such the handset. It may not be yet officially confirmed. It is pre mature to establish an opinion about the importance of Tizen for Samsung’s smartphone. The Samsung Z is not available in the market, but it is expected that the handset will be available in the third quarter and Tizen can be a likely candidate to replace Android.
