iQOO is now gearing up to unveil the iQOO Neo3 5G smartphone. The smartphone is scheduled to go official on April 23. Today, the company took to Weibo to reveal some of the major features of the phone. While it was being said that the iQOO Neo3 will be arriving with a 120Hz refresh rate supporting screen, the Chinese firm today revealed that it is equipped with a 144Hz refresh rate display.

The Red Magic 5G phone from Nubia that was announced in March is the world’s first smartphone with a 144Hz display. All the iQOO phones that launched in the past had 60Hz refresh rate screens. However, the iQOO Neo3 5G will be the company’s first phone to support higher refresh rates (144Hz). The poster shared by the company also confirms that the iQOO Neo3 is driven by Snapdragon 865 mobile platform. The phone is also equipped with UFS 3.1 storage. Past reports have revealed that the iQOO Neo3’s base model will have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. The FunTouch OS 10 based Android 10 will come preinstalled on the device. It is expected to arrive with a 48-megapixel quad camera setup. The iQOO Neo3 is rumored to be equipped with an LCD panel that has a punch-hole for the front camera.
