Vivo officially unveils X60 and X60 Pro with Exynos 1080 SoC

Vivo has officially announced the Vivo X60 series of smartphones in China. The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro have arrived as the successor to the Vivo X50 series that debuted in June in China. The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are the world’s first smartphones that are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1080 chipset. At the event, the company also confirmed the existence of the Snapdragon 888 powered Vivo X60 Pro+. The company revealed that it will hold a dedicated launch event at January end to announce the X60 Pro+.

Vivo X60 price

The Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are equipped with 6.56-inch AMOLED panels with punch-hole cutouts. The X60 has a flat display, whereas the Pro’s screen has curved edges. Both displays offer a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2376 pixels, a 19.8:9 aspect ratio, HDR10+, P3 color gamut, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Both devices have under-display fingerprint sensors.

Vivo X60 Pro price and full specs

Vivo X60 and X60 Pro have Exynos 1080 5nm chipset. The Vivo X60 series is fitted with a 32MP front-facing camera. The vanilla Vivo X60 has a triple camera setup that includes a micro-gimbal OIS assisted 48MP main lens with f/1.6 aperture, a 13MP ultra-wide lens with 120-degree field of view, and another 13MP portrait lens with 50mm focal length. The Vivo X60 Pro comes with a quad-camera setup that consists of a 48MP primary shooter with f/1.48 aperture, an 8MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and 60x Super (digital) zoom, and the same pair of 13MP snappers available on the vanilla model. The X60 and X60 Pro are the first Vivo phones to feature the all-new OriginOS flavored Android 11. Vivo X60 and X60 Pro are backed by 4,200mAh and 4,300mAh batteries, respectively. Both phones have support for 33W fast charging.
