Vivo Y30 launched with Helio P35 Chipset and quad-camera setup

Vivo has quietly launched a new mid-range smartphone known as the Vivo Y30 in the Malaysian market. Some of the highlights of this handset include a quad-camera setup and has a hefty battery capacity under the hood. The Vivo Y30 features a 6.37-inches LCD display with 1560 x 720 pixels screen resolution and a 19.5:9 tall aspect ratio. Its front panel also has a hole-punched cut-out which houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

On the back side, the phone has a typical rectangular module which play host to four cameras including a 13 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Moreover, there is also a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Vivo Y30 is powered by an octa-core Helio P35 SoC which will be assisted by 4GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage that is further expandable by up to 256GB via a microSD card. To keep its lights on, there is a huge 5,000mAh battery which supports 10W standard charging out of the box. The device will run on the latest Funtouch10 OS based on Android 10. Further, the handset will be available in two different colorways including Moonstone White and Dazzle Blue. It is priced at RM899 (US$208).
