Xiaomi Mi Watch Lite receives FCC certification

After unveiling the Mi Watch Revolve and Mi Watch, Xiaomi is now gearing up to launch an affordable smartwatch called the Mi Watch Lite. The upcoming Xiaomi watch recently spotted in an FCC certification listing, which reveals its design and some of its specifications.

As per the listing, the Mi Watch Lite will have a rectangular dial like MIUI-powered Mi Watch from last year with a 1.4-inch color touchscreen display and a single button on the right edge. Although the render included in the listing isn’t high resolution, it does show that the watch will come with a silicone strap with a traditional clasp. The certification listing further reveal that the Mi Watch Lite will have built-in standalone GPS, multiple fitness modes, water-resistance up to 50 meters, swimming mode recognition, and support for 24-hour heart rate monitoring. In addition, the listing highlights that the watch will go by the model number REDMIWT02 and it will come with a 230mAh battery that supports 5W charging. The Mi Watch Lite will arrive with Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity and it will be compatible with Android 4.4 or iOS 10 and above. A tipster claims that this smartwatch will be launching in some other markets as the Redmi Watch.
