iQOO Z1 5G is here with Dimensity 1000+ Chipset and 144Hz display

iQoo Z1 5G is finally official after all the teasers and rumors. The new iQoo Z1 is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1000 Plus chipset and it is yet another 5G gaming device from the company. This is also the first smartphone to be powered by this chipset. iQOO Z1 comes in two colors named Galaxy Silver and Space Blue. The phone is up for pre-order in China and goes on sale on June 1st.

There is a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ LCD panel on the front with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there is MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. Dimensity 1000+ has an octa-core CPU featuring four Performance-based Cortex-A77 cores clocked at 2.6GHz and four Efficiency-based Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2.0GHz. There is a Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. iQOO Z1 comes with 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The triple camera setup on the rear packs a primary 48 Megapixel shooter, a secondary 8 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a third 2 Megapixel macro camera. On the front is a 16 Megapixel camera for selfies. Finally, iQOO Z1 comes with a 4,500mAh battery and 44W fast charging support. Android 10 based iQOO UI runs out of the box.
