A new coronavirus, a group of viruses causing respiratory diseases, has been identified back in December 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei, China. According to the latest report, the Wuhan Coronavirus affects the accessories supply chain for Samsung Galaxy S20. Therefore, the chances are rare for the S20 buyers that they can buy a screen protector and a case for the S20 smartphones at the launch, confirmed at Unpacked Event on February 11. If you are one of the first to get the S20 case, you could be affected by coronavirus too. Researchers have shown the Coronavirus 2019-nCoV can affect ordinary people if they touch the same places or things already touched by affected people, such as doorknobs, whether it is of the industry of a laboratory, etc. It does not mean all the cases would affect the consumers, as the rush of laborers started using gloves and masks, and these numbers are much higher than before.
An online accessories provider, MobileFun, reported receiving many letters that S20 accessory shipping will get delayed due to extended Chinese New Year holidays and Coronavirus outbreak. China's government continues holidays to fight the virus. Some factories will remain out of business for a while. Samsung has not yet stated anything onto this.
