Oppo Reno5 A has been officially launched in Japan as a new member of company’s Reno series. The phone comes in black and blue colors. The key highlights of the phone include an FHD+ display, 64MP quad-camera setup, Snapdragon SoC, and a 4,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. Pricing and availability details were not disclosed yet.

Oppo Reno5 A in Norway

The newly launched Oppo Reno5 A houses a 6.5-inch LCD display that offers an FHD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a hole-punch cutout on the upper-left corner, which houses a 16MP selfie camera. The rear camera setup features a 64MP main camera alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP modules for macro shots and depth data. You’ll also find the fingerprint reader on the back here instead of the under display option seen on the Oppo Reno5 5G.

Under the hood, the OPPO Reno5 A is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 765G chipset, which is coupled with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. Interestingly, it also supports microSD card for further memory expansion. It also arrives with an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. On the software-side, it’s shipped with ColorOS 11 based on Android 11 OS. At the helm, the phone is fueled by a sizeable 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. Other features of the Oppo Reno5 A smartphone include an Adreno 620 GPU, 4K video recording, 5G support, Bluetooth 5.1, a USB Type-C, NFC, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
