Today (7-July), Samsung announced the Galaxy A71 5G UW with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display for Verizon. The device comes with mmWave support which can hit speeds over 1 gigabit per second. The phone will also be able to connect to Verizon’s low-band 5G network – this won’t be much faster than current 4G networks, but has significantly wider coverage than mmWave. According to the Samsung “the Galaxy A71 5G UW will be available for purchase on July 16.”

Samsung Galaxy A71 5G UW features a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display with a punch-hole at the top for the 32-megapixel selfie camera. A quad-camera setup can be found on the back of the phone, consisting of a 64-megapixel main shooter along with a 12-megapixel ultrawide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 5-megapixel depth lens. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 processor is under the hood and the battery remains the same at 4,500 mAh. The phone has 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage which can further expand up to 1 TB by microSD card.
