One of the famous computer maker Acer has announced the two new Spin 3 and Spin 5 laptops with 10th generation Intel processors. Both new Acer Spin models have an included fast-charging Acer Active Stylus and also feature slimmer designs that are convertible laptop to tablet mode.
Acer Spin 5
The Spin 5 features a 13.5 inches 2k multi-touch display with a 3:2 aspect ratio and 7.78 millimeter-thin bezels. It has a 360-degree hinge that allows the screen to fold backward entirely for use in tablet mode, and you can also use this as a laptop. The Spin 5 also comes with an optional Active Stylus with Wacom AES 2.0. The new notebook offers a Core-i7 tenth generation Intel Processor coupled with up to 16GB DDR4 RAM and 1TB of SSD storage. The weight of Spin 5 is just 1.2 kilograms with its magnesium alloy chassis. The device comes with an integrated fingerprint sensor, and the Acer also promised that the battery of Spin 5 could live about up to 15 hours. Spin 5 also supports fast charging, and a 30-minute charge will allow spending up to 4hours. According to the company, Spin 5 will go on sale in EMEA in March with a starting price of €999 and in North America in June with a starting price of $899.
Acer Spin 3
Spin 3 has a 14 inches bigger display that supports multi-touch and also can be folded backward. Its weight is 1.5 kilograms and has a thickness of 16.9 millimeters.
The Acer Spin 3 also comes with Intel Core i7 tenth generation processor and a rechargeable Acer Active Stylus with AES 1.0. It has up to 16GB of RAM and dual SSDs options. The Spin 3 has 1 x USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3, 2 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports (one with offline charging), 1 x HDMI port, and a MicroSD card reader. The Acer hasn’t sated the battery capacity of this device but promised that it would provide up to 12 hours for use. The company said that it would be available February in EMEA with a starting price of €649 and in North America in April with a starting price of $699.
