Samsung introduced the Exynos 7 series new chipset, the Exynos 7904, aimed for next-generation Samsung mid-range affordable devices. Samsung promises it will deliver seamless multitasking, excellent multimedia experience, smooth web browsing, and fast connectivity options.

Powered by a 14nm Octa-core CPU, the Exynos 7904 SoC coupled with Dual-core 1.8GHz Cortex-A73 processor plus Hexa-core 1.6GHz Cortex-A53 processor. Exynos 7904 allows a Triple Camera setup with high-end features or a single with up to 32-Megapixel resolution. With the newer Exynos 7 series chipset, you can enjoy 4k video recording at 30fps or FHD at 120fps.

The Exynos 7904 has a decent 4G modem which supports the LTE Cat12 band to ensure up to 600Mbps downloading speed and 50Mbps for uploading.

Samsung has not specified any smartphone which will have Exynos 7904 SoC for a premium experience with affordable packaging. The Galaxy M10, M20, and M30 are near to launch, so one of the Samsung M series handsets may feature the Exynos new chip. We hope the monster mobile company will unveil a Samsung smartphone with Exynos 7904 onboard, most probably next month (Feb 2019).
