With the wider f/1.8 aperture of Redmi phone, you can capture pretty good shots in daylight. In low-light places, you can turn on HDR mode which helps you to maintain the white balance. On the other hand, the Galaxy M20 with an f/1.9 aperture lens captures the good contrast photos which make you feel some dark parts of the image in low-light conditions even HDR turned on. When using the AI power of Redmi Note 7, you can shoot 12MP standard photographs good enough to share with friends.
Both the smartphones have a 5MP secondary sensor, but the depth details are nicely recorded by a Samsung mobile phone.
Video Recording: Redmi Note 7 supports EIS and allows you to create Full HD videos at 30, 60 and even 120 fps to offer you an amazing shooting experience. However, the Galaxy M20 doesn’t support EIS and can make FHD videos at only 30fps.

In comparison the Galaxy M20 packs inside Exynos 7904 SoC, 14nm Octa-core processor with up to 1.8GHz clock rate and Mali-G71 GPU. We experienced smooth performance with each handset, but the Redmi device is a bit faster.

Looking for AnTuTu scores? AnTuTu gave 144,599 scores to the Redmi Note 7 for total efficiency while the Galaxy M20 gained 116,375 scores for overall performance.
Both smartphones launch in such RAM and ROM configurations 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB. Gaming and multitasking users should select Redmi Note 7 which is available with up to 6GB RAM. It is due to the lesser RAM options of the Samsung smartphone.

Xiaomi smartphone arrives in three memory options while the Samsung mobile has come up in two variants.
The Redmi Note 7 Price for the 3GB/32GB model is CNY 999 which translates to $150. The 4GB/64GB variant of Redmi phone costs CNY 1,199 which is about $180. However, the 6GB/64GB memory option is available for CNY 1,399 that’s $210 for the global market.
On the other hands, the Price of Galaxy M20 is INR 10,990 for 3GB/32GB and INR 12,990 for 4GB/64GB which become $150 and $180 respectively.

It really matters your favorite phone is available in your local market or not. Otherwise, you have to pay shipment taxes in order to get your desired smartphone. The Redmi Note 7 is available for purchase at various Chinese online stores while the Galaxy M20 is currently offered by Amazon India. Both are limited but planned to ship other countries.
