Samsung has launched new series of Smartphones which is called J series and in this series has already launched Galaxy J1, Galaxy J2, Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7. They all differ from each other in display size. The series is budget friendly and all the mobile phones in this series fall in the category of mid range. Here in this review we are going to described about Galaxy J2 which is in between Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7.
Design and Display
Design wise all J smartphones are same. The Galaxy J2 is made up with same shiny plastic which already used in Galaxy J2 and the device is decorated with chrome metal rim which covers the borders to the handset and gives the premium look to the device. The mobile phone measures 8.4 mm in thickness and has reasonable weight which is easy to carry and manage from one hand.
The smartphone has 4.7 inches Super AMOLED display with 540 x 960 pixels resolution which is the strongest point of this device similar with other galaxy devices. The display is bright and vivid and has the clear outdoor visibility.
OS, Processor and Memory
Galaxy J2 is Android Smartphone and runs lollipop version of OS. Galaxy J2 is featured with Quad-core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 GHz processor paired with Exynos 3475 chipset and Mali-T720 GPU. The combination of chipset and processor is just perfect and facilitate the users by given them a flawless performance. The mobile phone has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB internal memory which can up mount up to 128 GB via microSD card. The power of RAM and internal memory gives a lot of space for storing the data and carry with them anywhere.
Galaxy J2 is a mid range device and has balanced pair of cameras. It has 5 MP rear camera with 2592 x 1944 pixels density and has 2 MP front-facing shooter with fir video calling .
Galaxy J2 is largest in the series and energized with the 2000mAh battery which is well enough for whole day average usage. The battery gives sufficient back up to the users.
Good and Bad Points
Reasonable price, Super AMOLED display and sufficient battery are positive points in Galaxy J2 and trendy design, low front facing snapper and lack of rapid charging seems weak aspects of the device.
