Sony is well known in the manufacturing of Smartphone they did not launch many devices, but the company particularly announced their Z series every year and the members of Z series come with many good changes. This year company was launched Xperia Z5 series contained 3 members; Xperia Z5, Z5 compact and Z5 Premium and as the name suggest the Premium is the larger handset in the whole series of Z5. Xperia Z5 Premium is the first come with mirror back in Sony Smartphones. The Xperia Z5 Premium is the finest combination of mirror, metal, and nylon. The metal rim of the device contained Sony logo and the nylon side rims protect the device from water. The Z5 Premium measures 7.8 mm in thickness and has 180 grams of weight. In the account of dimension, the device is bit larger than iPhone 6s Plus but in weight the Premium is lighter than Apple iPhone 6s Plus.

This is the Android Smartphone and runs Lollipop version of OS which will be upgraded with Marshmallow soon. The device is powered with Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 chipset combined with Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2 GHz Cortex-A57 processor and Adreno 430 GPU. The processor and GPU are good but the chipset faces the overheating issue and needs to be resolved and this is the only cause-effect the popularity of device amongst the users. As per Sony trend, the Z5 Premium is also certified from IP68 which means the device is water and dustproof and able to remain alive for 30 minutes under 1.5-meter water without destructive the device. Sony sets the new trend in a placement of Fingerprint Sensor. In Xperia, Z5 Premium has the scanner which is placed in the left side of the handset instead the back side. The side placement of scanner is much easy and fast to unlock the device. Just single tap unlocks the device and users feel ease use this.
Sony uses their next generation camera sensor inside the device which is 1 /2.3 in size and known as Exmor RSTM. The rear camera based on 23 MP with f/2.0 G Lens and for this sensor Sony claimed that this is the first upgraded sensor after Xperia Z1. The handset camera is world’s fastest autofocusing Smartphone able to capture an image in just 0.3 seconds. Another improvement in a camera of this device is Clear Image Zoom feature which allow the users to zoom an image up to x5 without quality losing. The handset has 5.1 front-facing cameras for taking the quality images especially selfies.

The Premium is energized with monster Non-removable Li-Lon 3430 mAh battery which is quite sufficient and gives approximate 2 days backup to the users. The rapid charging features allow the users to charge 60% battery in 30 minutes.
