Honor X10 Max and Honor 30 Youth Edition announced

Today (2-July), Huawei sub-brand has officially launched the Honor X10 Max and Honor 30 Youth Edition smartphones. The Honor 30 Youth Edition will be available for purchase from 8th July 2020 while the Honor X10 Max will go on sale tomorrow. Both devices come with MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G SoCs and offer 5G connectivity.

Honor 30 Youth Edition

The Honor 30 Youth Edition has a 6.5-inch display with a screen to body ratio of 91.2 percent and a resolution of 2400 x 1080px. It also features a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate for smooth response times. On the rear, the handset houses a 48-megapixel primary camera along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and 2-megapixel macro sensor. It supports 4K video capture and other AI image enhancement algorithms as well. The device is powered by a 4,000mAh battery that supports fast-charging up to 22.5W, which can charge the device over 50 percent in just 30 mins and fully charge in 90 minutes. The Honor 30 Youth Edition comes with the Android 10 based Magic UI 3.1 custom skin. Under the hood, a MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC fuels the smartphone, which also supports dual-mode 5G.

The Honor X10 Max features a large 7.09-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels. The phone has a body size of 174.37mm (length) × 84.91mm (width) × 8.3mm (height), and weighs only 227g. In terms of 5G, the Honor X10 Max uses the same MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G processor. There is a massive 5000mAh battery, which supports 22.5W super-fast charging. The device runs MagicUI 3.1, which brings multi-screen collaboration, smooth communication, knuckle screenshots function, smart gallery, and smart split-screen. For photography experience, the Honor X10 Max has a front-facing 8-megapixel selfie lens and a rear-mounted 48-megapixel AI high-definition lens.
