Samsung A Series 2017 – Quality and Premium Specs at low-cost!

2016 proved to be an explosive year for Samsung and the company has to prove a lot this year if it has to regain its lost ground. Well, Samsung indeed seems to be poised to reclaim all its lost grounds this year as there have been many rumors in market regarding the 2017 Galaxy S8 device. That’s not all, the company has already announced the iteration models 2017 for its Galaxy A Series.

Samsung Galaxy A Series 2017 seems to have perfect recipe of affordability and smart features, required to success. Behold as the new Galaxy A7, Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A3 are about to be launched as soon as February. What’s the most exciting feature about these devices is that they are all set to offer S7- like design at phenomenally low price.

 

 

 

We have gathered some insights into Galaxy A Series features for you including release date, price and specifications.

Galaxy A7, A5 and A3 price and expected release date:

Samsung A5 2017 and A3 2017 are all set to be rolled out as early as February 2017, though we aren’t sure about the expected release of Galaxy A7 2017 launch. Samsung has already confirmed the pre-booking for A5 and A3 models from January 20th 2017, on its official site.

In fact Mobile Fun has already started to take pre-orders for Galaxy A5 and A3 2017. You can pre-order Galaxy A3 2017 at $365 and Galaxy A5 2017 at roughly $500. It is to be noted that Mobile Fun hasn’t made available any delivery / shipping dates for the pre-orders (which is understandable as Samsung itself haven’t committed any shipping date for pre-orders on official RRP).

Vodafone and Three has also committed themselves to get stock on A3 and A5 to be sold on contract. Till date, both companies have released any expected date of release or pricing yet. Also, there have been no date of release announced for USA and Australia as Samsung seems to prioritize Russia and some European nations for first release of Galaxy A3 and A5 2017.


Design and Screen

Seems like Samsung is making some lost grounds by offering Galaxy S7 like design and screen for its Galaxy A series 2017. All A Series 2017 variants are set to boost metal frame with glass back and curved corners. Not to forget the famous physical button present at the bottom of screen (there’s no going away for Home button here like iPhone 2017).

A3, A5 & A7 all comes with dust and water resistant capabilities (IP68 certification). This gives them the capacity to function properly up to depth of 1.5meters for 30 minutes.

As far as colors are concerned, A3 and A5 are set to boost Peach Cloud, Black Sky, Blue Mist and Gold Sand colors.

The real difference between three models comes in at dimensions. A7 2017 comes at 156.8 x 77.6 x 7.9 mm, whereas, A5 comes in at 146.1 x 71.4 x 7.9mm and A3 2017 comes at 135.4 x 66.2 x 7.9mm.

Not to forget about the screen size difference among these variants where A7 2017 set to boost 5.7inch FHD scree, A5 2017 comes with 5.2 inch screen and A3 2017 boosting rather compact 4.7 inch screen at 720p display.

All variants come with super AMOLED screen panels that we have seen in Samsung’s flagship devices.

Camera

Samsung has always been great when it comes to its camera result. Over the years, the company has made its say with above average camera results even in its lower to mid-range devices and the company is keeping its tradition alive with latest Galaxy A series 2017.

Galaxy A7 and A5 2017 will come with 16MP rear camera and 16MP front facing camera. This certainly makes them highly potent devices for all selfie lovers out there.

Galaxy A3 2017 will boost a 13MP rear camera and a 8MP front facing selfie camera. There are various in-built shooting modes to help you out with great selfie and pictures.

Battery:

This is another avenue where Samsung seems to dominate other devices for sheer quality and endurance. Not only the flagship devices but even the lower to middle tier devices boost a highly potent and lasting battery.

Coming to Galaxy A series 2017, Samsung is set to retain its standards with high capacity batteries. Galaxy A7 2017 is going to boost a massive 3,600 mAh battery with USB-C charging capability. Galaxy A5 and A3 2017 will boost 300mAh battery with USB-C charging.

OS and power

All three devices will be running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow (A generation behind the latest Android 7 Nougat). Galaxy A7 and A5 2017 are going to boost 1.9GHz octa-core processor with 3GB RAM, whereas, A3 2013 comes at 1.6GHz octa-core processor and 2GB RAM.

As far as storage is concerned, A3 2017 comes at basic 16GB internal storage with MicroSD card slot, whereas, A5 and A7 2017 will boost 32GB internal storage with MicroSD card slot up to 256GB.

Other features

As we have already discussed, after an explosive 2016 Samsung seem to change the gears for this year by offering premium specs even to its low and mid-range devices.

All versions of Galaxy A Series 2017 comes with fingerprint sensor and NFC. More importantly, both these features combines to enable contactless payment option.
